A day of fasting and prayer for our nation and the upcoming elections.
We need to pray! We ALL need to pray. This election may very well change the course of our nation forever. We cannot sit back and allow the enemy to take control. We need to pray that we return to God and His ways.

We need to come together and PRAY.

Tomorrow...

I'm getting married tomorrow!

One side effect to getting married in one day is the lack of sleep caused by brain over load. I woke up at 3:30 a.m.

Wesley and I talked about how ironic it is that we spend months preparing for our wedding's (all people) and then it lasts for about three hours. I said it was sort of like the circle of life and our contribution to the "wedding world." I figure we all attend over a hundred weddings in our life time, eat their food, enjoy their toil and labor, it's only right that we take out turn in the cycle of things and throw a huge party where we feed and entertain others. After attending a life time of weddings I'd say we all break about even. This realization made me feel a little bit better about what we're spending on three hours, even if it is going to be an awesome party.

I'm so excited! I'm going to be a new last name tomorrow! Eeeeee!!!

Oh my goodness, 8 days left people! Get the camera, grab a kleenex, and start believing in miracles...Casey Raquel Licari is getting married! If you're not a believer in miracles after this, than get someone to check your pulse!

Woo-hoo! Oh happy day!

21 Days...

We're at the 21 mark! Woosh...the time goes by. It's starting to get hard to keep track of the days, they just seem to be melting away. Now all that's left is a few fine details, a pedicure, a hair trim, a final dress fitting, and freaking out. Actually, I'm doing pretty well. I feel amazinlgy calm, except when I try to fall asleep at night and about a million and a half things start buzzing through my mind. What is it about turning off the light switch? I can fall asleep in a second when I'm just bumming on my couch, but the minute I get up to go to bed and lie down my eyes pop wide open and I become a thinking-crazy-person. I should just start sleeping on the couch!

Weekend Insights...

Weekend...here I come!

I have my final dress fitting tomorrow. How nervous does that make someone? I still have seven weeks before my wedding day and I have a final dress fitting. I hope it fits when the big day comes! I think companies like to add more pressure to the already hectic day. They must all be in cahoots with each other. The wedding shops, the grocery stores, the diet companies...they are all in a giant conspiracy together. The sad thing is, I'm falling right into their trap.

Oh well!

Weekend...here I come!!!

Ten Pounds

I've been walking a lot lately. I'm trying to lose ten pounds before my wedding day. I was thinking today, "Why is this so important to me?" If I was ten pounds thinner than I am now I would probably still REALLY want to lose ten pounds for my wedding day.

Girls are weird. Or maybe, our society is weird. Either way, I REALLY want to lose ten pounds before my wedding day! Ugh...life can be so complicated. I think I'm going to go eat a brownie.

53 days...

In a fastfood-gotta-have-it-zoom-zoom-world, waiting is not on the top "fun" list. God says that it's good to wait upon the Lord. Yes, we all know that waiting produces perserverance and all that great stuff...so when we have to wait we grit our teeth, smile, and convince ourselves it's a good thing. Well, it is a good thing like Martha Stewart would say, but it's not an easy thing.
